| Digital Hooligan as a music entity came to life in early 2002. Formed by Jason Gemnich (born 1973 in Toronto to German immigrants) who has been experimenting with electronic music since 1989. He started by mixing sounds on his father's (Klaus) vintage SONY TC-630 Reel to Reel. It progressed to keyboard and analog tape machines and mixers until the late 90's. Early electronic music projects were recorded under 2 different names: "Saturn's Purple Recoil" and "Nova Kayne". Once 2000 came, Jason moved into the digital side of composing and recording. In 2002 he become better known as "Digital Hooligan" and went on to release music on several experimental compilation discs from 2004-2006. In 2005 Digital Hooligan released his first full length album "Dream Corruption" in boutique format, and any copies found in circulation today are a rare find. At this time, Digital Hooligan is working on his next full length album, with some tracks being made available for listening pleasure on myspace, last.fm and purevolume. | ||||||||||||||||
